Both my wife and I are customers of CL2 and have both received excellent service from everyone at the salon. From the very first appointment we have always been given friendly and professional advice on styles and treatments etc (as well as for 7 year old daughter!) particularly from Charlotte. We value the combination of top quality stylists and service in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and would always recommend CL2 to others.

3: What they think sets you apart from other professionals you have used for the same services?*

Prior to using CL2 I tried certain famous salons in central London as I assumed these would give the best all round quality of service etc. However I was put off by the lack of genuine customer service and almost intimidating atmosphere. As a result I decided to try CL2 in the hope that I would get top quality service but in a nicer environment. This is exactly what I found and have never considered using another salon since. All of the staff at CL2 are extremely professional and always willing to accommodate me, my wife and now my daughter too - but they also work in a friendly and inviting environment which, in my view, makes all the difference between a salon and the Top-Quality salon that CL2 is.

The staff at CL2 have really made a point of getting to know me as a client. They recognise me when I arrive and greet me by name, remember how I take my coffee, the magazines I like to read and what we talked about last time I was there. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment and my occasional last minute requests to change a cut and blow dry to highlights are always accommodated. My stylist, Tim has always given me excellent advice on style and colour - and isn't afraid to tell me when he thinks something is a bad idea! All of the above, plus small thoughtful touches like discount vouchers on my birthday and small gifts at Christmas, make me feel a valued and important client.

3: What they think sets you apart from other professionals you have used for the same services?*

Consistency - customer service is always good and from all staff. I know I will come away having had a relaxing and positive experience and with great hair. I am struggling to come up with an area for improvement - apart from maybe the wash basins where the taps can occasionally be a little temperamental.

I know that whenever i contact CL2, that i will be spoken to by a friendly, approachable member of the team, who all know who i am, and will always endeavour to meet my requests with a positive response.

I find it re assuring that detailed records are kept about my treatments, or hair cuts, so that if i have any queries in the interim, i am able to contact the staff and know that they will give me knowledgeable feedback.

CL2 offer a consistently high quality of skill, whilst ensuring a tailored personal service, is provided at all times.
I love the high quality products on offer, and the careful way in which the staff are happy to explain the science behind the product.

I feel confident in the high standards of 'house keeping', clearly evident throughout the salon.

I have yet to discover something which for me, would make the process more enjoyable.

Staff advice has always been helpful. If the staff feel that the condition of clients hair is not as it should be they will listen to the client and then make suggestions on treatments which might be suitable for the client.

Staff make client aware of new products that are available

Staff always willing to discuss different styles and new beauty therapies available to the client.

I have always found all the treatments carried out to a high standard.

Exceptionally clean and well presented salon
Good friendly atmosphere in the salon, Staff always pleased to see the client and take the trouble to tel. client to remind client of appointment. Staff concerned about well-being of the client whether it is providing tea/coffee or magazines to read.

Staff are, without exception, welcoming, courteous and knowledgeable. The whole impression, upon entering the salon, is of a smooth running and professional approach to the service. Staff are friendly and if there is anything they can do for you between services, they will offer it (eg a variety of drinks, a magazine). I am impressed by the skill of each member of staff but of particular mention, the skills and professional knowledge of Mr Brooks himself. My hair has never been so well cut and conditioned. With regard to the skills of Sally, the beautician, I cannot praise her highly enough. She has introduced me to the range of Sothys products and my skin, after receiving one of her facials, has never been so good. Sally is also one of the most sympathetic and friendly professionals I have known. It is a real pleasure to visit CL2 and on each occasion I leave the salon feeling 100% better! Not only looking better but feeling relaxed and well groomed.

3: What they think sets you apart from other professionals you have used for the same services?*

The thing that sets CL2 apart from all the other salons I have visited is the feeling that the staff work as a team and that the whole service runs like clockwork. I like the way that everyone, from Mr Brooks himself down to the latest junior stylist, seem to enjoy what they are doing and are happy to please. I like the way that one is reminded of appointments on the day before, by a phone call from the salon. Not that I need reminding, as I am looking forward to going! It is hard to think of how the service can be improved upon. The salon is always immaculate and the decor attractive. It is such a pleasant experience that the only thing I can think of which might improve it would be to have a larger beauty area which would not be possible in the present circumstances (lack of space) and would involve having to extend somehow or even move to larger premises.

I have confidence in the advice they give me as to when I need things done to my hair - They are always honest and very Professional.

I moved out of the area, tried other Salons and came back!
They mange to combine Professionalism, a happy and friendly environment and above all honesty as to what suits my individual needs. Charlie also does my future son-in-law's hair, we are of course so different yet she suits both of us!

When I moved from London I was expecting to go back to my London hairdressers because I didn't think a country salon would be of London standards. CL2 was recommended to me and I decided to give them a try.

I was very impressed with the professionalism of the salon and the standard of hairdressing. I have "difficult" hair, and was given a cut and blow dry of the same standard as I had been used to in London. I have my hair coloured, and have been delighted with the results. The advice I have received on products to maintain my hairstyle between visits has been excellent. I also use the beauty salon and am most impressed by the beautician.

I have always been impressed by professionalism, and I find that CL2 has achieved a high standard with their staff. I always feel as though the staff are pleased to see me, and the service they give with tea and coffee is prompt and courteous.
I have carefully considered where I think their service could be improved, and I am unable to think of any. I think that this is the reason that they deliver an outstanding service. I have recommended many friends, and continue to use CL2 in preference to any other salon. I would compare them positively to the top salon I used to go to in London.

I have consistently used CL2 since it opened as the staff are friendly, personal and incredibly consistent. I've never had a bad haircut and have used all sorts of services from highlights, colour, xtenso treatments, blow drys, hair up all of which have been fantastic. CL2 also retain their staff so you can go back to the same stylist time and time again. Their advice on aftercare and styling products has always been good and I've never felt pressured to buy any of the products they recommend (though usually do and I'm happy with them!). My husband, three girls (aged 2 - 5) and my mother also use CL2 as I rate it so highly. One of the most impressive experiences I had at the salon was I managed to have a cut and blow dry whilst other staff cut all three of my children's hair and we all enjoyed ourselves!

3: What they think sets you apart from other professionals you have used for the same services?*

As mentioned above, my entire family use this salon. I have every confidence in every member of staff who works there and have seen stylists progress from junior to fully qualified and their knowledge and advice grows. I have always had great haircuts, (as have the rest of my family and friends) all the staff appear to really enjoy their job and the constant presence of the owner is really nice. I've thought long and hard and couldn't come up with any area where they could improve any aspect of their service. The salon is modern, fresh and appealing, appointments are available at reasonably short notice. Having used many top London salons, including Charles Worthington in Percy Street, I find CL2 the best salon I've ever used and wouldn't consider changing.
